However, strange things begin to happen after Reese's death. Hobbes realizes that the evil spirit inside other previously held prisoners, people and objects also affects him. In addition, the strange last-minute lyrics of the killer Reese start to swirl in Hobbes' mind.
While Hobbes struggles to solve these terrible experiences, another serial killer soon appears and Hobbes discovers that he also carries Reese's soul. Hobbes uses all his strength to end this evil spirit, but ultimately fails. The film ends with an open ending, leaving Hobbes in doubt about the ultimate fate of his evil spirit.
