Love Jones (1997)

Love Jones is a 1997 romantic drama film written and directed by Theodore Witcher. The film takes place in Chicago and follows the romantic relationship between a young poet, Darius Lovehall (Larenz Tate), and photographer Nina Mosley (Nia Long).

Nina has to go to New York for her job, and Darius meets another woman on Savon's advice. However, another chance arises between the two when Nina returns.

At the end of the movie, Darius reads Nina a poem and the two decide to move on with their lives together.
