Demons (1985)

1985's Demons (Italian: Dèmoni) is an Italian horror film and one of the most important works of director Lamberto Bava. The script of the movie was written by Dario Argento and Lamberto Bava.

The movie is about a group of people who go to a movie theater to go to a horror movie screening. However, the demons in the movie shown in a scene turn out to be real and the movie theater, with all the buildings it is in, becomes a realm where demons reign.

The main character of the movie, Cheryl, is forced to wander through the maze-like rooms of the movie theater to escape the demons with other people. When people start attacking each other, chaos and violence spreads fast and they struggle desperately to survive.

Demons has become a classic among 1980s horror movies. The film was acclaimed for its atmosphere, music, effects, and scary scenes and inspired many horror movies.

Demons (Dèmoni) is an Italian horror film directed by Lamberto Bava and produced by Dario Argento. The film begins with two young women, Cheryl and Kathy, attending a screening in Milan. During the screening, the plot of the movie becomes reality and some of the audience turns into aggressive zombies.

While trying to escape the attack, Cheryl and Kathy meet other people and try to survive together. However, the zombie epidemic soon spreads to all the streets of Milan and people have to struggle to survive as they try to escape.


A group of people running away enter an old theater to find the exit. But in the theater they are attacked by zombies and the survivors find themselves in underground tunnels. While battling the zombies in the tunnels, the survivors begin to investigate the cause of the zombie epidemic and discover how gruesome the truth is.
