Flynn wants to retrieve his software stolen by his former employer, and with the help of his old friend Alan Bradley, he tries to infiltrate his former employer's computer system. But meanwhile, Flynn finds himself in a system managed by an artificial intelligence. The name of this system is "Tron".
Tron takes place in this system in which Flynn finds himself. There is a world in the system where human characters are depicted as computer programs. Here, Flynn and other characters get involved in a war between programs. Other programs in the system include malicious programs created by former employer Ed Dillinger. Flynn works with a program called Tron to defeat the evil programs.
